Dr. Robert T. Moran

Mr. Moran is an Organizational and Management Consultant with specialties in Cross-Cultural Training, Organizational Development, and International Human Resource Management. During the academic year 1987-88, he was Visiting Professor at Ecole Superieure Des Sciences Economique Et Commerciales in France. As an international consultant, his experience extends to a variety of organizations and institutions, He has designed and conducted seminars for Aramco, Arthur Andersen &Co., AT&T, General Motors, Honeywell, Intel, Bayer, Exxon, Volvo Truck Corp., and Singapore Airline, among many others. From 1998-2001, he was Interim Chair, Department of International Studies, at Thunderbird School of Global Management
 
Dr. Robert Moran received his PhD from the University of Minnesota. He was also a coach and advisor of the Japanese National Hockey Team and, as an advisor, attended the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, France, and the 1972 Games in Spporo, Japan. He has also taught in the executive education programs at Thunderbird, Emory, Penn State, Stanford and Wharton.
 
Mr. Moran has authored and co-authored 14 books. Recent publications include:
 
Managing Cultural Differences, Fifth Edition, 2000(eleven printing), with Philip R. Harris, Gulf Publishing Company, Houston, Texas. This book is adopted by over 100 colleges and universities as a text each semester and has been translated into Japanese, Chinese and French.
